The dent comes out. The paint stays on.

That door ding you've been looking at for three months. The crease from the shopping cart. The dimples the hail left across your hood. None of it needs a body shop, and none of it needs sanding, filler, or a respray.

This is a bridge lifter. Glue a tab to the center of the dent, clamp the tab in the collet, turn the knob. The padded feet brace against the panel while the shaft pulls the tab straight up, and the metal follows. You're working the dent out from the same side you're looking at it — no drilling, no pulling trim, no reaching behind the panel with a hammer and dolly.

The knob gives you control a slide hammer never will. Quarter turn, check it, quarter turn again. You feel the panel move. Overshoot on a slide hammer means a high spot you now have to knock back down. Overshoot here means you back the knob off.

Aluminum body, stainless adjustment screw, silicone feet that won't mark the clear coat. It lives in a drawer and comes out twice a year, and both times it saves you a $400 estimate.

What it does well: shallow dents and door dings on steel panels with some flex. Hail damage. Dimples on hoods, doors, and quarter panels.

What it won't do: sharp creases, dents over a body line, dents on aluminum panels, or anything where the paint is already cracked. If the paint's broken, glue pulling isn't your fix. We'd rather tell you that now than take your money.
